This policy explains how the Pingo (Kahraba Live) app collects, uses, shares and protects your data. Pingo is a community app for tracking power outages, fuel availability and trash collection points in Libya. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

• Location (precise and approximate): used to identify your area/neighborhood, show nearby electricity, fuel and trash status, and attach your reports to the correct area.
• Background location: the app may access your location while closed or not in use solely to detect power outages in your area and notify you promptly. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in device settings; the app keeps working with reduced features.
• Network and Wi-Fi state: we read the device's network/Wi-Fi connectivity state to infer power outages or restoration in your area. We do not read the content of your communications.
• Reports you submit: when you report electricity status, fuel availability or a trash point, we store the report, its time and area to show it in aggregate to other users.
• Notifications: we store a device push token to send you alerts.
• Account data (optional): if you sign in with Google we receive your name, email and profile picture to identify you in the app.
• Advertising ID and basic device info: system libraries may access the advertising ID, device model and OS version for operation, technical analytics and stability.
• Usage and crash data: anonymous technical information about app performance and crashes, used to improve the app.

2. How we use data

• Show electricity, fuel and trash status for your area and send alerts.
• Build an aggregated, anonymized service-status map of Libya from user reports.
• Protect data accuracy (e.g. confirmations from outside Libya are not counted for your area).
• Operate, improve and debug the app.

3. Data sharing

• We do not sell your personal data.
• Your reports are shown to other users in aggregated, anonymized form (area, status, time) — never with your name or precise location.
• We use technical service providers (hosting, push notifications, crash analytics such as Google/Firebase services) to run the app; they are bound to protect the data.
• We may disclose data where required by law.

4. Retention and deletion

Aggregated reports are retained for statistical purposes. Account and location data linked to you are deleted on request. To delete your account and data, email us at the address below; we process requests within 30 days.

5. Security

We use transport encryption (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Your rights

• Access, correct or delete your data.
• Revoke location and notification permissions at any time in device settings.
• Request full account deletion by email.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with its update date.
